A STEM Introduction with 3Doodler. Our Engineering & Design units include a guide to creating your own Doodled Roller Coaster (“Doodle Coaster”), kinetic energy and all, as well as a 22 day of instructional curriculum that provides an authentic problem-solving experience on the physics of engineering and design of bridges.

Types of Energy: Doodle Coaster
This lesson will guide students through the process of creating a track for a marble to roll down using the 3Doodler. After completion, students will be able to explain how the concepts of potential and kinetic energy apply to the marble.

Bridge Engineering and Design
This plan is set out to assist teachers in an authentic STEM experience for their students. The schedule included is very tentative, and groups could take longer to complete steps along the way. There is no single approach to solving the problem and no single correct answer. Students will learn from failure and it is important to let them know it is the process that is important.
